Thermodynamics A Practical Approach

Thermodynamics has become part and parcel of our life. Whether travelling in a
vehicle sitting comfortably in an AC room or enjoying the cold drink from the
refrigerator, you will observe the application of thermodynamics almost
everywhere directly or indirectly. Thermodynamics is a study of relation
between heat and work on material bodies. Although there are many books on
the subject thermodynamics, this book is tailor-made to meet the requirements
of Mechanical Engineering students and also to enable even an average student
to understand the subject easily. The special features of the book are in simple
language, a systematic preparation and the numerous worked examples. This
book on thermodynamics outstanding to the work of former authors like P.K
Nag, K K Ramalingam, R. Yadav, D. S Kumar, RK Raj Put and others
mentioned in bibliography. I confess gratefully the authors from whose books I
acquired the subject knowledge and taught over the years. It is not possible to
