It gives me a great pleasure indeed to present the Text Book of Knowledge Management Strategies Implementation in IT, Manufacturing and Service Sectors to the management students and teaching community. In this open regime the Knowledge is recognized as a valuable asset in organizations across many industries. We’ve all heard that old chestnut ‘knowledge is power’ and recognise the truth of it in our everyday working and personal lives. However, in recent years it has become clear that globally, we’re somewhat lacking in the ‘high-end’ technological skills that in many sectoral businesses and large organisations require. How knowledge is shared, leveraged, obtained, and managed will be the difference in how successful and sustainable an organization will become. This book is a culmination of my years of experience in the knowledge management (KM) discipline. Since 2002, I have been involved in various KM activities such as researching, developing processes for capturing and codifying knowledge, developing KM systems, developing and operationalizing KM strategies across several industries, writing articles and books, developing and teaching KM curriculum, and speaking at numerous KM conferences.
This book was meticulously written so as to enable even the common man to comprehend the different parameters of Knowledge Management Strategies Implementation in IT, Manufacturing and Service Sectors. This book is a panacea to all the reading community on knowledge management. It acts as a trouble shooter for desolate consumers of academic community.
