This book is a compilation of the author’s 20 years of working experience in Social Infrastructure, Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Supply Chain, and Service organizations in India and abroad. The author has worked in various business functions, including product development, capacity planning projects, maintenance engineering projects, store management projects, supply chain projects, and quality improvement projects in diverse industries. While compiling this experience, the author recognizes that the market is flooded with numerous books on project management, and various guidelines have been issued over time by renowned authors to promote and establish the framework of project management, including the highest standards set by the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, in the book PMBOK. However, the actual way projects are executed is not always fully captured by these authors. In this book, the authors share their experiences with budding managers who aspire to enter the field of Project Management.”
