URVASHI

The Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the Iliad, the Odyssey, Greek, Roman, Babylonian or Indian Mythologies, Buddhist or Jain scriptures, all these ancient books carry the history of each country’s unique tradition and culture, the triumph of human civilization and social evolution. These folktales were created in ancient and medieval times to explain the origin and nature of the universe, the earth, nature and human civilization. These stories are oral historical documents from ancient times, undisputed mirrors of society and religion. “Urvashi”, the collection of poems refers to the stories of these ancient books which are the corner stones on which culture and civilisation have been built. “Urvashi” explains religion, history and morality and highlights our collective cultural consciousness.
