This marginal booklet includes most of the major and minor diseases of sorghum in a nutshell. Several diseases affect leaves, stems, and even panicles or grains of sorghum, which are economically very important, and grown in most parts of the world.
A maximum number of images of disease symptoms are given in this manuscript to get more accuracy on the characteristics of symptoms and their diagnosis. For each disease, information is provided on identifying signs and symptoms, their causal organism, and how to control it when it occurs.
This handbook targets graduate students, researchers, scholars, extension workers, and anyone who needs access to clear, actionable information on the most important diseases affecting the sorghum crops grown by smallholders in Eritrea.
At the end, an index, and a reference list of publications and websites are given where additional information can be obtained.
