Smart Campus Initiatives: Projects Driving Educational Automation

It gives us immense pleasure to present this book titled “SMART CAMPUS
INITIATIVES: PROJECTS DRIVING EDUCATIONAL AUTOMATION”, a
compilation of the projects undertaken by the talented and self-driven individuals, at the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and
Technology, Vadapalani Campus, implemented during the academic year 2023-24. This
collection is a reflection of the creativity, innovation, and technical acumen of our students,
who have embraced the challenges of the real-world problem-solving through their project
work.
The projects included in this book are diverse in nature, addressing various contemporary
challenges in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Internet of Things
and more. These projects clearly exhibits not only the technical skill and knowledge gained
by the students during their academic journey but also their ability to apply this knowledge to
develop solutions that could have a meaningful impact in both industry and society.
Through this book, we aim to showcase the broad spectrum of student talent and to encourage
future students to explore their interests through practical application and research. The
projects demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from various fields of computer
science and engineering to deliver impactful outcomes. It is through these projects that
students gain a better understanding of how their knowledge can contribute to solving realworld problems. This compilation is a testament to their journey and achievements.
