NEW PERSPECTIVES ON KHUSHWANT SINGH

This book is an anthology of the research articles presented at the National Online Seminar on “Tribute to Khushwant Singh: A Writer of Protean Sensibilities” on 3-4 September 2021. An important writer of the 20th century Khushwant Singh is known for his clear-cut secularism, wit and a deep passion for literature. Khushwant Singh has accomplished outstanding success as a columnist and writer who sprang from a most unwriterly virtue. He had the capability of seeming to express directly to the reader.
The task of “Tribute to Khushwant Singh” is to provide a platform from where researches can collectively re-examine the question: ‘Why do people read Khushwant Singh?’ This book contains articles on various themes attempted by Khushwant Singh in his entire writing career ranging from partition trauma to his jokes. The amalgamation of different opinions and ideas on Khushwant Singh would encourage and add new dimensions to the research field. We wish you all happy learning.
