MUSLIMS AND RESISTANCE MOVEMENT IN BRITISH MALABAR

The book entitled Muslims and Resistance Movement in British Malabar is a genuine investigation in to the life and struggles of the marginalised and oppressed Muslims in colonial Malabar. A historical approach based on consideration of time, space and social environment can unravel the reactions of Muslims to imperial designs of a colonial government. Their resistance to the British rule in Malabar is a detailed critique of colonialism. A systematic and deeper analysis into the genesis, evolution and development of anti-colinial resistance by the Muslims is mutated through the present study.
