ALCOHOL BIOTECHNOLOGY

Dr.Ravi Shrinivasan basically microbiologist obtained Post graduation in Biotechnology. Honouraril awarded Doctor of Science for his long service in Alcohol industry by Global Human Peace University. I have been qualified (M.Sc., M.Phil) and post graduate diploma in fermentation technology. Professionally Myself is associated with Co-Op sugar mills attached with distillery in manufacturing department. During the service, I have been interested in environmental engineering, alcohol manufacturing and other related works. I have presented articles Alcohol manufacturing like Ethanol from various substrates and sustainable agriculture through distillery wastes and so on. I have got some chance with various prestigious institutes like National Environmental Engineering Institute, Nagpur, Sugar Technologists Association, New Delhi, South Indian Sugarcane and Sugar Technologists Association, Tamilnadu Agriculture University and various engineering colleges in and around Coimbatore. I have been interested in Research in Coir composting, composting with agro wastes. I have interested in alcohol technology book in Tamil and authored the same. Further, I have interested in bringing this Alcohol Biotechnology in English and collected various books and references for editing this book. In this book, I have presented the alcohol related current technologies, research and current fuel ethanol details for the knowledge of the persons involved in alcohol-based industries and students studying the alcohol technology. This Alcohol biotechnology especially brought for understanding the microbiology and biotechnology in every process and chemical engineering for better understanding to lead the distilleries
