I am pleased to present this text book of pharmacology – II to the students of third year, B.Pharm, Semester – V. This text book is written with a view to cover new syllabus framed for semester- V, B.Pharm students by pharmacy council of India as per Education Regulations – 2021. The book has been divided into respective chapters as mentioned in the syllabus. The chapters of this book include those on pharmacology of drugs acting on cardiovascular system, urinary system, endocrine system, bio assay and autocoids and related drugs. The book is therefore of use to medical and pharmacy students. The book is recommended for students of pharmacology studying in medical and pharmacy colleges, medical practitioners and pharmacy practitioners. Thanks are due to my wife Mrs J.Sujitha Sambath for her inspiration and co-operation and valuable suggestions from time to time in preparing this book.
