REVOLUTION OF MAXILLOFACIAL IMAGING – A CLAIRVOYANCE IN DENTISTRY

Over the past two decades, maxillofacial imaging has undergone significant development with development of new cross-sectional imaging techniques. On plain films and dental imaging, traditional maxillofacial imaging was based. However, the use of modern CT and MRI, imaging techniques for maxillofacial issues is still in its early stages. This book bridges the gap between traditional maxillofacial imaging and advanced medical imaging. We have used CT, CBCT, MRI, Ultrasonography, PET scan to diagnose a range of maxillofacial conditions, and these instances are displayed with high-quality images and numerous planes. Additionally, there is a thorough chapter on introduction of imaging.
