Biology is a fascinating science that deals with the study of living organisms and their functional role in the biosphere. Biological sciences can be further sub divided into Botany (Study of Plants), Zoology (Study of Animals), Anatomy (Study of internal structure), Morphology (Study of morphological features of organisms), Physiology (Study of understanding mechanistic approach of living things starting from cell function at the ionic and molecular level to the integrated behaviour of the whole body and the influence of the external environment) despite these divisions are interconnected by fundamental doctrine. Certain biological phenomena viz., cell division, growth, development, reproduction, physiology and transmission of genetic material are shared by all the living organisms.
