BIOTECHNOLOGICAL EFFECTIVE APPROACHES IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The International Conference on “BIOTECHNOLOGICAL EFFECTIVE APPROACH IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (BEAST-2022)” was organized in India on 07-08 April 2022 at K.S. Rangasamy College of Arts and Science (KSRCAS), K.S.R Kalvi Nagar, Tiruchengode, Tamilnadu. This institution strives to provide quality education by imparting discipline, value, knowledge and skills. The Department of Biotechnology is serving the academic needs of the Institute since 1999. It offers B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D., programmes in Biotechnology. The Main motto of Biotechnology programme in KSRCAS is to make the students to express their innovative knowledge and scientific skills for the new era of Biotechnology (Nanotechnology, Proteomics, Genomics, Pharmacogenomics, Cancer Biology and Stem cell therapy etc.,) and to promote innovative research by the way of interfacing with various funding agencies available in India such as DBT, DST, CSIR, ICMR and DRDO as well universities and other research institutions in abroad and to design current, relevant inputs to transform the students into employable and socially responsible citizens.

Biotechnology growth has been stupendous during the last decade due to path breaking advancement in Biology owing to the deployment of advanced technologies followed by massive data analysis with the aid of new tools and computational intensive techniques. Hence it is the need of the hour to learn and deploy all new technological developments in Biotechnology to strengthen the existing knowledge.

BEAST-2022 provides a perfect platform for an excellent opportunity for all participants to establish networks, to share ideas and to form partnerships with biotechnology-based private sectors, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, biotechnology associations, research institutes, Universities, biotechnology researchers and biotechnology students.

BEAST-2022 received more than four hundred and fifty research abstracts from researchers. Among them one hundred and sixty-five abstracts were shortlisted and accepted to be published in the proceedings based peer review carried out by the organizing committee. Three keynote speakers were invited from outside India (Singapore, South Korea and China) and two keynote speakers were invited within India. Their presentations provided good Knowledge in Biotechnological ground, Nano biotechnology, Food Science and Nutrition science, Agricultural Science, etc. Because of the transformative professional experience bringing together the world’s scientific experts to catalyze and advance scientific knowledge in their field. In this conference, the technical sessions were held as parallel sessions. A special session for group discussion was arranged to allow extended exchange of ideas among the speakers and the young minds.

BEAST-2022 as aimed acted as a forum to share knowledge for specialists from various biotech fields, scholars and researchers to facilitate academic communications and enlighten with the current trends in respective avenues related to Biotechnology, Food Science and Nutrition science, Agricultural Science and Covid-19, Vaccination, Diagnostic Biochemistry, Drug Discovery, Immunology and Genetics, Industrial Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Therapeutic & Pharmacology.

The committee enthusiastically executed the BEAST-2022 the researchers presented their research works through oral and poster sessions and the best presentations were awarded by Jury in each session. BEAST-2022 has achieved the prime goal with great success and enhanced the exchange of research expertise and ignited young students towards research.
