Computer Aided Engineering Drawing (CAED) is a fundamental subject in the curriculum for first-year engineering students at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. This subject serves as a bridge between theoretical engineering concepts and their practical applications, making it essential for every budding engineer. The objective of CAED is to develop students’ skills in visualizing and interpreting engineering drawings through the use of modern computer-aided design software, ensuring precision, accuracy, and professionalism in the creation of technical drawings.
