Peeping to the past of Jammu and Kashmir especially the era of 1930-1960, when the remarkable changes in political system came to be effected drastically, credulously to come across the gross misdemeanor at the behest of Political leadership both a Delhi as well as in the State of Jammu and Kashmir inviting the incidents of communal violence in 1931 at the intigation of British Officers, thereby creating the scenes of Chaos and in certainty on the most revered land of Saints and Suffies entailed with the change of power from Dogra Ruling dynasty to a self centered leadership dandstinely and stealthy by coercion and undue pressure by adopting all means of fraud with the ethics of democracy and the rule of law. Ultimately having proved to the fatal for the national sovereignty and integrity, the blame shifted on the tamed Ruler put in force exile by the distorted facts and maneuvered writing of history, creating disinformative hate among the people across the states. It further crept the culter of raddisation boost and terrorism in the State.
Maharaja Hari Singh being the ruler of the time, had a multifaceted personality, a man of South and straight forward convictions, still very liberal in serving the people of State especially the poor and down-trodden, believing in democratic reforms. This State perhaps the first being to have a legislature body called Praja Sabha since 1931, and being responsible for the political consciousness across the state with an endeavor to expand the education system. Even Maharaja was the first to fight against the British Empire ethically for the dignity of the State by removing the British flag from the Courtyard of its Residency in Srinagar in 1926 and shut the doors of Jammu British Residency, thus the Britishers were forced to shift the same to Sialkot. Thus British did not like Maharaja being of a patriotic character evince able from his daring speech in the Round Table conference at London on November 12, 1930.
Being a very straight forward, I further clear the clouds of apprehensive, myself to be anyway act as a tout or paid agent of anyone, by feel my inner voiced obligations to bring in focus the true events based on record having remained beyond the scope of public discourse and determination without fear, favour or ill will, and try to put the same in public domain for their just and sagacious determination.
In the past to shy from the incongruously committee sins attempt through the distorted histories have been made to blame Maharaja Hari Singh to be against installation of democratic Government, or not willing to aced to India rather to remain Independent, being in co-operative with the Government of India after 1947 more particularly the leadership of Pt. Nehru, to have fled away from Kashmir during dead night of October 26th 1947 while keeping the people of Kashmir in lurch when the tribals and Puk forces were a heading towards Kashmir, to be of communal character. All these blames being purely of political vendetta, and each such allegation deserve to be investigated microscopically and bring in focuses to the true wrong doers for the miseries of the people of Jammu and Kashmir by focusing their unpatriotic conduct in the wake of exposed conspiracies forcing the dismissal of Sheikh Abdullah Government, the mysterious death of Shyma Prashad Mukerjee, the reasons behind not evacusting the areas of POJK and COJK besides the saga of political approach of Praja Parishad demanding total integration of Jammu and Kashmir with rest of India, the persons behind the miseries of West Pakistan Refugees , Gork has settled in Jammu and Kashmir State, Balmiki Smaj and above all the sex discrimination. The root cause of the dilution of Parliamentary roll into the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir.
I hope my approach in touching with the vital points of importance remained unfocussed in the past will provide an aid to the scholars and historians to have the optimistic lead for their future pursuits of further research and bring on record the true facts by eclipsing the past distorted histories so created at the whims and fancies of the ruling elites.
My this work contains sixteen chapters covering the subjects of formation of the State of Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of Maharaja Gulab Singh, Dogra Dynastic Rule, the life of Maharaja Hari Singh from Child hood to his last breath, the Constitutional Development during his exile with conclusions to my best of ability to which I could reach, and thus is brought in public domain to test the veracity of the material and endeavour vivipariously on future research on the Subject of Jammu and Kashmir for the uncovered field if left.
