This collection of short stories, based on my observation of life in general and imagination, has been written over a long period. These stories reflect the lives of ordinary men, women and children, parents and grandparents, their desires and disappointments, happiness and sadness, love and hatred, greed and need, nostalgia and disgust, calmness and excitement, harmony and hostility, ecstasy and agony.
I am sure you will be able to relate to some of the characters in these stories. You may come across such people with a myriad of emotions, in your families and neighbourhood.
Since this is my first foray into fiction-writing, these stories have gone through much editing and revising. None of these twenty-five stories have ever been printed as a book although nine of them were self-published digitally under the title Human by Nature by Beena Sugathan. Those that appeared in the digital Preview have gone through thorough revision. They have been included in this book.
As these stories deal with universal themes like joys of childhood, human relationships, impulsive reactions, deliberate responses, work-family balance, unpredictability of the future, certainty of the ultimate truth and so on, they can be located anywhere. I believe that there is a substantial readership among those who are passionate about reading stories that reflect day-to-day life and highlight eternal values. In fact, there is food for thought for every discerning reader.

Unto Eternity and Other Stories by Beena Sugathan
I got this book only the day before yesterday. To read twenty-five short stories by an author one after the other seemed unjust to her; and hence I sampled a few at random.
I could relate to the incidents and sentiments in her stories.
I fervently hope she has more such treasures to share with her readers.
