The present book entitled “STATISTICAL ANALYSIS HOW THE PRIVATE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES HELP IN INCREASING THE LITERACY RATE” is for Statistics purpose. It embodies the investigations carried under the valuable guidance and supervision of Professor Jagdish Prasad, Department of Statistics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur-302055 (Raj.), India.

The whole work included in the book is divided in Eight Chapters, including research papers such as 1) A Statistical Analysis of Performance of Literacy in Rajasthan (From 1961–2001). Communicated for Publication. 2) Trends in Literacy Rates and schooling among the scheduled tribe and Scheduled caste in Rajasthan. Journal of Science and Technology.

The references have been indicated in the book by the name(s) of the Author(s) with year of publication in the parenthesis and listed author wise in alphabetical order at the end. The equations in the Chapters have been numbered in such a way that the first number indicates Chapter, second the Article number and the last represents the Serial Order e.g. (2.03.05) indicates 5th equation of 3rd Article in the 2nd Chapter. Similarly, the first digit of the numbers on the Figures and Tables indicates the Chapter, while second and third digits show their Serial Order.
