As I pen down the thoughts that culminated in this book, I consider it as my moral duty to reflect on the journey that brought me here. The genesis lies in the profound realization that our education system, while promising a summit in the mountainous terrain of life, often falls short in equipping us with the essential tools to reach the peak.
During my formative years of career, I always found a gap between what I knew, my skills and the requirement in my professional assignments. Later the gap didn’t vanish but the realization arrived that the education I completed helped me to reach here but from here some different skills are needed.
I realized that “What brought me here won’t take me ahead”
The struggle started and step by step I explored, struggled, learnt, again fell short of knowledge and skills, again explored, again struggled and learnt and learning continued till now and I guess will continue till I live.
The metaphorical journey of life, paralleled with the progression of formal education, reveals a gap – a gap between the skills imparted and those indispensable for navigating the intricacies of the real world. It is this void that compelled me to embark on an exploration, an exploration that led to the creation of this book.
One always feels compassionate towards their own species. Through compassion I want reader to find the navigation beforehand or not struggle navigating through the arduous paths and loose on opportunities to explore your own potential and life in general.
This book is not just an exploration of the deficiencies in our education system; it is a call to reconsider the purpose and efficacy of education. It aims to ignite a dialogue about the profound difference between acquiring knowledge and developing the skills necessary for a fulfilling and successful life.
