RSS and Hindu Nation

I have read many books on RSS and Hinduism. But, I have tried here to go into
the roots of the Hindu Nation concept. Also the persons from different states
who have dealt with the subject. It seems the concept has originated in
Maharashtra, Bengal and its takers are also from the northern states.
Aspects like caste, language, culture and religion are dealt with in more detail.
The relationship between RSS’ Hindu Nation and religions, caste, tribes is also
described. Main thrust is on the RSS and its modus operandi. How it thinks of
its relationship with state-ruler and Nation and its similarity with the ancient
Varna model. Communists and their thinking on RSS, caste system is also
dealt. How foreign writers think about Hindu nation and to which aspects they
give stress is dealt with.
I hope readers will find some newer aspects in the book.
The author is working and thinking for social equality, annihilation of the
dreaded caste system for about five decades. He has participated in the
movement for social equality. He is of the strong opinion that annihilation of
the caste system is the foremost answer in the Indian conditions. Only class
struggle is not the only answer.
