Recent Trends in Environmental Sciences

Environment is the concern of each and every individual. Today the whole world is facing a variety of environmental crisis like global warming, climate change, Environmental Pollution, Impact of mining, water crisis, excessive use of chemical fertilizers etc.

The United Nation’s  also aims to combat the environmental damage , to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impact, conserve and sustainably use of the ocean and marine resources for sustainable development, protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. These said challenges are to be worked out with priority. The present book is a very small endeavor to address some the issue related to it.

We are charmed to present our book entitled “Recent Trends in Environmental Science before you all. This book is the collections of articles contributed by the esteemed academicians and the scientists on the burning environmental issues.  In this book a variety of interdisciplinary environmental disciplines like Flora and Fauna, Insects,   Water Bodies Resources, Impact of Mining  , activities Ethnobotany, Sacred Grove (Jaher), Assessment of heavy metals in surface water, Hydrophytic Plant    diversity, angiospermic diversity, Seasonal variations and climate change, Solid Waste Management and Soil pollution etc. have been dealt according to the author’s purview and the outcome of their concerned research.
