This volume contains 35 papers from National Conference on Advancement in Computing, Communication, Control, Informatics, & Pharmaceutical Sciences (NC4IPS 2020), which is devoted to the gamut of emerging engineering issues from theoretical aspects to application-dependent studies and the validation for a specific application. This was envisioned and founded to represent the growing needs of research in the areas of Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, Applied science & Humanities. This proceeding is intended as a forum for practitioners and researchers to share their ideas in the field of sustainable energy, intelligent control, signal processing and communication.
The format consists of plenary sessions, tutorials and workshops on a niche area. Around 250 people have participated in NC4IPS 2020, 156 papers have been received, and approximately selected 84 papers have been presented by authors.
The conference was inaugurated by honorable Chief Guest Shri. Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Kanpur Institute of technology, Kanpur, India, followed by a first plenary session from distinguished speaker Prof. Brajesh Varshney, Director, Kanpur Institute of Technology, Kanpur, entitled “Non-traditional optimization algorithms: genetic algorithms” . In his session, he discussed about traditional and non traditional optimization algorithms. In Non Traditional Optimization Algorithms, computerized search and optimizations algorithms based on the mechanics of Natural Selection and Natural Genetics were presented. The second plenary session on “Application of AI in health care: Recent Advances” was delivered by Dr. Lucy Mohapatra, Amity University, Lucknow. In her session, she had discussed advancement around globe in healthcare acceptance and scope of AI in the world. The next session was on “How to start research” which includes basic steps involved in planning a research followed by proper literature survey, include objective and future possible outcome of that research, delivered by Dr. Anuradha Mishra, Integral University, Lucknow. The last keynote session was presented by Dr. Manoj Pandey, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Amity University, Gurugram, on “AI in Robotics” which defines the feature of AI enabled Robot. These robots uses an efficient algorithm, combination of sensors and good control technique which can fill the gap between currently available robots and intelligent robot and could immensely improve the life by automating tasks.
The NC4IPS has received the technical support from IEEE-CIS UP section & AKTU Lucknow.
