KELADI KULATHILAKA VENKATAPPA NAYAKA

It gives me immense pleasure to write few words on this book.

The Kannada literature is potent enough to occupy a predominant place at world level. But considerable translations are not done, consequently our rich heritage was happened to remain strange to others. If the Geethanjali were not translated into English by Tagore himself, it would not have been awarded the Nobel Prize.

My learned friend Shree M.N. Sundar Raj has translated my another learned one, a great research scholar Shree AmbrayyaMatha’s “KeladiKulThilakaVenkatappaNayaka” into English which is highly loudable. The translater is successful in his yeoman service, understanding the original motif of the original book of the author and thus he has paved the way to non-Kannadigas to have a Glimpse of the KeladiNayaka Dynasty. I wish many other research works of the original author be introduced to the non-Kannadigas by the translaters.
