This book is the original work of analytical research undertaken by me which emphasis the unfortunate state of teaching staff at Unaided Junior Colleges. The attrition rate has climbed high due to various factors that are presented in the book. This book is the classy version of the research thesis that helped me gain my doctoral degree. It would give the readers complete knowledge about the attrition rate and also about various theories of motivation which has helped me in understanding the Human side and the role it plays in the retention of the staff members.
The readers would be able to understand the plight of teachers and the way they are exploited in private institutions. Based on my finding of the research study, I have put forth suggestions to the various stakeholder for their commendable action towards the plight of teachers. I appeal to the authorities to take a stand against the alarming situation and bring in required changes in the system for saving the teaching fraternity from exploitation.
Teachers are the nation builders, the future of the country lies in the hands of the teacher, as they mould the young minds toward their goals, who can shoulder their responsibilities towards the society at large
