This publication has shown a simple and lucid presentation, explanation and analysis of new and emerging roles of Finance and HR along with their cross-functional collaboration under the active support of visionary and innovative entrepreneurs. With the sheer advancement in the world of business, disintegrating the barriers between HR and Finance has become an exigency for those entrepreneurs in order to achieve their visionary objectives. This book has been designed to equip them with their future roles in bringing interface between HR and Finance in different strategic and functional areas of their businesses against the fast-changing environment.
HR and finance are two inseparable heads of the same organizational coin. Now-a-days many organizations are going to witness the redefined collaboration of Finance and HR. The collaborative support of these two pillars shall enable the entrepreneurs of those organizations to gain competitive advantage in volatile markets. Despite being a matter of cardinal significance and integral area of management discourse, ‘HR-finance collaboration under active support of the entrepreneurs/CEOs’ as a topic has not drawn much attention of management researchers and academicians. However, the visionary and innovative entrepreneurs are realising the importance and impact of HR-Finance interface in strategic and functional areas of their businesses. Initially, when we started writing this book, we faced a major challenge due to scarcity of adequate information. Ultimately we managed to complete this book where we tried our level best to place need-based and relevant corporate information, our findings, case examples and suggestions.
