Artificial intelligence is not a novel notion to science fiction fans. Nowadays, artificial intelligence is more science than fiction. AI is not a unique concept in our age of quickly evolving technology, but the advancements in this sector following the inclusion of complex technologies are astonishing and should be safeguarded effectively. AI may be described simply as a machine’s capacity to simulate intelligent behavior. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a subfield of computer science that tries to construct “intelligent machines.” The creativity and expertise displayed by AI systems are plainly apparent to the world, and concerns about IP protection have grown in the minds of persons enforcing intellectual property rights.
As a result, we should investigate more deliberate goals of copyright and patent rules with relation to AI systems. Machines now generate extremely original works that, if created by humans, would undoubtedly be qualified for copyright protection. This necessitates a rethinking of copyright norms for AI systems across the world. In the future, inclusive growth will include all types of scientific discoveries. This implies that robots/machines/AI systems should be included in this expansion. A future based on AI is a fate chosen by humans, and it is better to be well prepared for this age of technology in which it is not just fantasy. It is time for a new renaissance of the globe. In the near future, the works of AI systems will not be granted IP protection just because they are neither humans nor legal persons. Denying them the rights that every citizen of any country has is a violation of their rights.
My Thanks is due to the entire Editorial team of the Publishers for conceiving and bringing out this book in present form. As an author, I hope this book is useful not only for the Bar, the Bench, students, and the researchers of law but also to those who are subjected to Artificial Intelligence.
Suggestions for improving this book would be greatly valued, as they may serve as a helpful source of development in the future as well as in the evolution of law on the issue.
